Living spaces
Panels, furniture pressed wood and cabinets. These products may release formaldehyde gas.
Remedy: Ask about formaldehyde content before buying furniture or cabinets. Some types of pressed wood products, such as those with phenol resin, emit less formaldehyde. Also, products coated or laminated with polyurethane can reduce formaldehyde emissions. After installation, open windows. Maintain moderate temperature and humidity.
Mat. Organic pollutants can grow on water-damaged carpet. New carpet can release organic gases.
Remedy: fast drying and damaged clean carpets with water or remove the post altogether. If adhesives are needed, ask them to lower emissions. During installation, doors and windows open, and use fans or air conditioners. Vacuum regularly. Consider mats instead of carpet from wall to wall. Rugs are easier to remove and clean, and you can clean the floor underneath.
Floor tiles. Some contain asbestos.
Remedy: periodically by damage or deterioration. Do not cut, rip, sand or remove any material that contains asbestos. If you plan to make changes that might disturb asbestos, or if the materials are than slightly damaged, contact a professional to repair or kidnapping.
Humidity. Humidity encourages pollutants biological, including allergens such as mold, dust mites and cockroaches.

Do not sand, burn or remove the lead-based paint yourself, hire a person with special training to correct the problems of lead-based paint.
Animals. Many animals leave allergens such as dander, hair, feathers or fur in the air.
Remedy: Keep pets outside as often as possible. Clean all the house regularly. Deep clean areas where pets are allowed. Clean pets regularly.
Mites. Allergens biological factors can trigger asthma.
Solution: Clean and vacuum regularly. Wash bedding in hot water above 130 degrees F. Use finishes harder surface, is less likely to attract and retain the mites.
Products cleaning. unhealthy or irritating fumes may be released from chemicals in products.

Remedy: Use and cleaning according to "the guidelines of the manufacturers. Complete daily with freshwater.

Remedy: Provide ventilation during use. Follow manufacturer's instructions. Buy only the quantity you need. If the product contains methylene chloride, such as paint, to use outdoors. Close the container tightly. Keep products in their original containers, labeled. Clean brushes and other foreign materials.
Pesticides and fertilizers. Yard and garden chemicals can be toxic.
Remedy: Use non-chemical methods whenever possible. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing, application, storage and use of protective clothing. Mix or diluted out. Provide ventilation when using indoors. Keep them out of the house in their original labeled container. After using the product, remove shoes and wash hands and clothing from the supply of chemical products in your home.
